About the Doctor
Dr. Robert Coelho is the Director and Chief Paediatric Cardiac Surgeon at the MIOT Centre for Children’s Cardiac Care at MIOT International. The Centre provides cardiac care for a large number of children suffering from Congenital and Rheumatic heart disease. He is one of India’s few dedicated paediatric cardiac surgeons. He has over two decades of experience in his chosen speciality and has worked and trained both in India and abroad. He has also held several key positions prior to joining the MIOT family, most notably that of Chief of Paediatric Cardiac surgery at the Madras Medical Mission.
