Dr. Gurinder Bedi has been in Fortis Hospital for over 12 yrs. He brings with him his immense knowledge and experience gathered over the past 30 yrs. He presently works with his colleagues in the FORTIS Centre for Advanced Orthopaedics to provide the most comprehensive and complete care in all Orthopaedic Sub specialities in our city. He himself trained in Delhi’s premier institute MAMC and then worked in England for 11 yrs before coming back, 14 years ago. In UK he has worked in various University Hospitals around Bristol & Newcastle region with many a Specialist of international acclaim. Having trained and worked extensively in the NHS,UK he has varied special interest in areas such as Joint replacement both in lower limb and upper limb, Arthroscopy, Foot Ankle surgery and Spine Surgery. He has done advanced fellowship in Knee Replacement, Hip Reconstruction and also Foot Ankle Surgery. In India he runs a busy practise in the hospital along with his colleagues and is consistently rated with very high patient satisfaction score. His main practise in our hospital has been Joint replacement especially Knee and Hip, Arthroscopy and Sports injury and Foot problems besides managing Spinal problems. He specialises in Joint Replacement surgery, especially on pain free early mobilisation, with minimal blood loss. He is regularly doing minimal incision surgery along with computer navigated surgery and patient specific knee replacement.
