How to Apply for Indian Medical Visa

Hi, my name is Khalil and I am the founder of MyMedTrip.com, the Amazon of medical tourism. Applying for a medical visa for India is easy. The Medical Visa requirement for India is quite simple for the patients and their attendant. We at MyMedTrip.com help applicants to secure their medical visa in the following easy 3 steps.

1) Share the details of the patient and the attendant

For the patient:

You need to share with us the latest medical reports of the patient along with a copy of his valid passport. You also need to mention the hospital and the city where you are seeking the treatment. You can apply from here

For the patient’s attendant:

For the family member or friend accompanying the patient during the journey, the attendant needs to share his valid passport copy. Before covid-19 travel restrictions, a total of 2 attendants were allowed with a patient but this has been restricted to 1 attendant after the covid outbreak. However, if the patient is travelling for a liver or kidney transplant, 2 attendants are allowed, where one of them is the donor.

2) You get the Medical Visa invitation letter

After we at MyMedTrip.com receive your request, you will be contacted by one of our team members. It takes roughly 1-2 working days to issue a medical visa invitation letter.

After you receive the medical visa invitation letter from my team at MyMedTrip.com, you will need to carry a copy of it along with your original passport and approach the nearest Indian Embassy for stamping of the visa on your passport.

The Indian Embassy usually takes between 2-7 working days to stamp your medical visa after they verify the authenticity of the application through MyMedTrip.com

That’s it! You are good to travel!

After you get your visa stamped on your passport, you are all set to travel to India!
